摘要：

In this talk, beginning from the classical calculus of variation, we discuss some properties of the Sturm-Liouville operator. Then we obtain a solution to the 1-d heat equation. For the higher dimensional parabolic problems, we present the maximum principle.We then study the global properties of heat equations.We then introduce the one dimensional minimal surface flow and study the asymptotic behavior of the global solution.

专家简介：

马力教授，1989年博士毕业于中国科学院数学所，师从王光寅研究员和丁伟岳院士。1991年北京大学数学系博士后出站，合作导师张恭庆院士。现任北京科技大学70net永乐高教授。马力教授主要从事几何分析与偏微分方程的研究，现已发表学术论文120余篇，包括Adv. Math, ARMA, JMPA, CV &PDE, J. Funct. Anal., Comm. Math. Phy., JDE等多个数学领域的著名期刊。现为国际数学SCI杂志JPDO的编委(Springer出版社)和国际著名SCI数学杂志“Annales of Global Analysis and Geometry” 编委(Springer出版社)。
